One of Costa del Sol’s most popular courses, Alcaidesa Links overlooks the magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea, the Rock of Gibraltar and the North-African mountain range, offering the golfer a unique space which is a delight to all the senses. The wide fairways with heather and gorse add a Scottish flavor to a golf course that has been the venue of several professional tournaments, including the Junior Ryder Cup in 1997.
A face lift was given to the course in 1999 resulting in the further development of Spain's link course. Fairways have been improved and widened and greens have been leveled off. The windswept heights, and the water features will challenge experienced players. Watch out for the tricky second hole!
Although a links course, Alcaidesa can be enjoyed by all golf players since the type of soil, layout and breadth of the landing areas are well suited to players of all ages and abilities.
