At the foot of the Sierra de las Aguilas mountains, the Alenda Golf Course was designed over gentle terrain and plays to the par of 72. Alenda is a mixed course and is appropriate for golfers of different skill levels and you will have to use all the clubs in your bag.
The first nine holes are medium length, on very wide fairways, and require accuracy rather than strength. For the last nine holes concentration is needed, on this technical part of the course accuracy is more important than distance. Particularly tricky are the 16th and 18th holes.
The tricky slopes in particular demand a good putting line due to the slope of the greens allowing for a variety of flag positions. The ball has to be hit with just the exact amount of vivacity to reach the hole positively. The tee shots played here have to be well positioned on the fairway and the elevated greens can be a challenge to all golfers.
