Golf La Estancia

In Chiclana de la Frontera, a short trip away from the La Barrosa beach lies Golf La Estancia; located within a wholly natural environment it is a 72 Par golf course peppered with protected areas which have been respected in the design of the course and which highlight its beauty, encouraging the player to use different strategies for each hole.

The fairways are routed around several canyons and gullies and it’s safe to say that a fair amount of soil was shifted in order to form many of the playing corridors on such difficult terrain. The dominant winds, the East and West winds make for a different game every day.

The short par three 5th is a standout hole on the front nine, playing downhill to a raised green that’s perched on the edge of a gorge. Water comes into play at the last two holes on the card; at the 17th, a pond fronts the front right-hand side of the putting surface and a small lake runs down the left side of the fairway from tee to green on the home hole.

Golf La Estancia is a course that players of all handicaps can enjoy, presenting different challenges for each level of play, and being very convenient for walking.
